PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST for the August 6th, 2024 primary election has been scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Greenbush Township Hall, 1883 E. French Road, St. Johns MI, 48879.
The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate that the program and computer that will be used to tabulate the results of the election, counts the votes in the manner prescribed by law.

The 2024 Summer taxes are payable from July 1, 2024 through September 16, 2024
Please note that Postmarks are not accepted!
Any outstanding amount due after September 16, 2024 at 5:00pm will be added at the rate of 1% each month or fraction of a month, until paid in full, or until turned over to the Clinton County Treasurer for further collection on March 1st, 2025.
All balance due amounts (deferred amounts included) on summer taxes will be assessed a one time penalty fee of 3%, as of February 14, 2025.
Deferment forms must be filed with the Treasurer before September 16, 2024. Contact the office at 989-224-3993 to have one mailed to you.
PLEASE NOTE: Tax payments made on the incorrect parcel cannot be refunded or adjusted. Please make sure your paying on the correct parcel.

PLEASE INCLUDE THE LOWER PORTION OF YOUR TAX NOTICE WITH YOUR REMITTANCE INCLUDE NAME OR ADDRESS CHANGES AND A SELF ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE FOR A RECEIPT IF WANTED.
Office Hours are September 16, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Greenbush Township Hall.
During non business hours there is a secured drop box located on the southeast side of the main entrance is available. Payments put in the drop box will be applied the next township day. Payments may also be by mail or appointment (989) 224-3993.
